2019-2020 Recital

  • The 2019-2020 school year will remain online. Zoom classes are moving forward as scheduled through the last week of May.
  • Dancers should continue practicing their recital routines and review choreography videos via Google Classroom
  • It is our hope that we will host a couple small outdoor recitals sometime in July, following social distancing and CDC guidelines. Look for more information on choreography rehearsals and recital information.

2020 Zoom Summer Classes

  • We will also offer a variety of live zoom classes
  • All high intensity classes will be conducted via zoom so dancers do not have to participate in cardio while wearing a mask

2020 In-person Summer Classes

  • We will tentatively be opening on Monday, June 8 for summer classes - there will be a 4 week summer session 1, July will be reserved for recital and rehearsals, and there will be a 4 week summer session 2 in August.
  • We will have in person technique classes, no more than 10 dancers in a class at a time
  • All parents of students who opt for in-person classes will be required to sign a waiver
  • All staff and dancers over the age of 10 are required to wear masks and practice social distancing guidelines, staying 6 feet apart (individual areas will be marked on the floor)
  • Dancers cannot bring any outside belongings other than shoes to change into and a water bottle into the studio. This means all dancers should come dressed in their dance clothes.
  • Dancers and staff will have their temperature checked using a touchless forehead thermometer and given hand sanitizer upon entering the studio.
  • Dancers in the Grande studio must enter and exit using the front door (on Mill Street)  and leave their shoes outside the studio door.
  • Dancers in the Petite studio must enter and exit using the back door (parking lot entrance, shared with Advanced Eyecare) and leave their shoes outside the studio door.
  • Only dancers and staff are allowed inside the building.
  • The dressing room and waiting area are closed at this time.
  • Dancers and staff should continue to limit exposure outside of the home to essential needs such as grocery shopping, healthcare, and dance
  • Dancers and staff should only be at the studios if feeling completely well with no symptoms of illness.
  • If a dancer, staff member, or family member inside the home has had COVID-19, they will need a clearance note from a doctor to return to the studio
  • After each class, dancers will wipe down their own area of the barre with disinfectant.
